Breaking News: A conspiracy in the GDHL has just been uncovered that reaches all the way to the Commisioner of the league!
Just as the online regular season draft was finally starting to speed up, GM Adam Byrne made this seemingly innocent trade with fellow GM Kevin Kwasny:
Adam trades his 2nd pick (14th overall) and Trevor's 7th pick (77th overall) to Kevin for his 1st pick (#12 overall)
Commisioner MacCormack immediately approved the trade and the draft continued with Adam selecting forward Michalek of San Jose.
Soon after the selection, GM Ihor Triska, who is still on his scouting mission in the tribes of Australia, heard of the transaction and immediately contacted all the GMS and the Commisioner to inform them that the trade violates Section 638493 of Charter law 65232353335 subsection 1232352144 which states that GMs cannot trade more than 20% of their draft picks in a single year. Reluctantly, MacCormack was forced to reject the trade and also GM Byrne's selection.
A formal investigation has been launched to determine whether criminal charges will be laid against any of the GMs involved or Commisioner MacCormack.
Stay tuned for breaking news on this story as it develops...
